[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-02-06 Summary: An Interesting Finish... ... Having been a fan of the popular Warrior cat books, as the third Warriors series, Power of Three, went on, I found myself growing disappointed. The old fire of the classic Warriors books seemed to have died, engulfed more by the greed to publish a hundred of these books and crank out more words on the brittle page. But being a hard-core fan, I knew I would buy it anyways, and I read this book with apprehension, because I wanted to love it, and as it turned out, I wasn't disappointed. We were left as shocked and excited ...more
[3] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-01-01 Summary: Worth Reading ... Defianatly worth the read. Sunrise doesn't quite deserve five stars, but it was a great close to the TPOT series. This book proves that Erin Hunter hasnt completely lost her touch after all. The drama with the three's parents, Leafpool and Crowfeather and their fake parents, Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw, put the series back in order. Well done, authors. I hope your next series opens great. Good luck to you! ...more

Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-07-07 Summary: Warriors Books are addicting! ... My 12 year old daughter is addicted to these books, and recently I found out why. [2] Rating: 4 Date: 2009-05-22 Summary: Why I Wanted to Yell at Brambleclaw and Leafpool ... As strange as the title I gave my review might sound, this summarized what was running through my head in this book. The book was good as usual, but I wanted to yell at them so much! Brambleclaw faced so much prejudice in A Dangerous Path (Warriors, Book 5) and The Darkest Hour (Warriors, Book 6) due to his father-his nighttime meetings just make the problem more difficult. His relationship with Squirrelflight is already down the Twoleg drain, must he alienate everyone? He's seriously creeping Leafpool (who's caught ...more

[4] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-06-26 Summary: You Really Can't Put The Warriors Books Down! ... When I first started reading the Warriors, I immediately got into a habit of non-stop Warrior Cats reading. When I got to this book, Twilight, it seemed that maybe when Erin Hunter was writing this book, she was filled with many wonderful ideas for her story. Mothwing is one of my favorite characters. She's a shy, sly medicine cat, yet inside, she's ready to protest against her frightening, muscular brother, Hawkfrost. Squirrelflight changes her emotions and personality in this book; she begins to understand others, ...more

Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2009-03-31 Summary: The Clans make progress; finally the plot gets moving ... The third book in the Warriors: The New Prophecy by Erin Hunter. This was a pretty good book. It takes up right where the last book left off with Brambleclaw and company returning from their quest to the sun-down place. When Brambleclaw and others return they find the Thunder Clan camp abandoned. It seems the Two-legs have gotten more aggressive and are destroying the entire forest. Will the Clans be able to stop the Two-legs destruction? Will Midnight's prophecy come true and the Clans forced to leave their forest? ...more

[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-01-11 Summary: Outstanding Series ... I'm hooked on this series of books in a big way. I'm not a kid either, & don't honestly believe this would be a book/series for any kid under the age of 13. They are stories about survival & remind me of Native American books set in prehistoric times. But for the adult with a fascination for cats, this is the best I've read in a long time. For those who rescue feral cats & are upset by moments of blood & fighting, you probably wouldn't like it. But the entire series of Warrior books are a treasure & I can't put them ...more

Warriors Super Edition: Firestar's Quest
Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-02-19 Summary: Yet another great story! ... I was so enchanted and touched by this book. It is the only one I have ever cried in, and that includes 16 books! It is about Firestar, the new leader of Thunderclan, as a group of strange cats come to visit him in dreams and real life. He meets their leader, Cloudstar, a gray tom with white patches. It is obvious he needs help for his group. The group turns out to be the fifth clan, which were forced to leave after twolegplace was built in their territory. [4] Rating: 4 Date: 2009-12-05 Summary: Can't Put it Down ... This is a superb read and an excellent compliment to the 1st series of Warriors books. I read the entire 500+ pages within a week and then read it again about a week later. While not quite as good as the 1st 6 books in the series, I still found it hard to put down and wanted to see more and more of Firestar's journey. My only complaints would be that it doesn't have as many action sequences as the original series, it's more of a tale of a journey and a bond that forms between the two main characters Firestar and Sandstorm. ...more
[5] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-11-20 Summary: Very Well Written Book ... Hi, I'm Raya M. I'm nine and totally fell in love with the series ever since buying the book. Yes, I am a very advanced reader for my age, and I read much faster then most children between eight and nine. The first and second series of Warriors were a fast read. I was just getting to the point in my reading that I needed to read longer books, over 500 or even 700 pages. Any way, I was overjoyed when I saw this book in the Warriors aisle. To me, these were longer better books in the series. I got this book that day ...more
