It doesn't have any corn, wheat or soy as fillers, and no by-products, although it does contain rice and barley. If you are concerned about grain you may want to avoid this, although rice is way down the list of ingredients--I think it's the seventh ingredient. Also there is some barley, and potatoes and other vegetables. I buy the hairball version for my boy, since he has had issues with hair ingestion even though he's short-haired.
