This movie is really not all that bad....People really need to look upon the T&J Movie and the original classic cartoons as two different things.... [2] Rating: 5 Date: 2006-04-01 Summary: Hilarious ... My kids just love this movie and they see it very often. I saw the original cartoons when I was a kid and absolutely loved it. Giving Tom and Jerry voices has enhanced the cartoon further which is a change from the usual if hilarious Tom and Jerry chase. The storyline is wonderful and the music is lovely. This welcome addition to the classic Tom and Jerry is fun movie for the family that is highly recommended. ...more

At 30 minutes it's long enough for a pre-bedtime viewing, short enough for the 2 year-old to watch but long enough for the 4-year old to feel satisfied. The story is fun, the animation is trippy and inventive. There are a few hidden gems that the grown-ups can chuckle at and the rest is funny for the children. The dialogue between the Cat and the Grinch is pretty witty and amusing. This is definitely one that the adults and kids can enjoy at the same ...more

I liked the way she organized the photographs between the children's letters. Some of the children's letters had drawings that my grandchildren enjoyed. I thought Buddy's Bio and Socks Stats where clever, and we tried the same idea to describe other pets. My children grew up with pets, but my grandchildren do not have room for pets. So we read this book about Buddy and Socks whenever they want to know more about having pets. Usually it leads to drawing a picture or writing a story ...more
